Privacy Policy

This policy covers BurstWizard for iPhone and iPad, published by SuperComfySoft, a trade name of MD Directive, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands.

The short version

BurstWizard collects nothing. It has no accounts and no analytics. Frames never leave your device — the app has no network access. Photos go straight to your library and the app keeps no copy. Your settings are the only thing stored, and they are deleted with the app.

The rest of this page is that same statement, said slowly.

Data collected

None. The App Store privacy label for BurstWizard reads Data Not Collected in every category, and that is a description of what the app is built from rather than a promise about how it is operated.

The app contains no networking code at all. It cannot send your photos, your settings, your device identifiers or anything else anywhere, because it has no mechanism with which to send them. There is no server to receive them; SuperComfySoft operates no backend for this app.

Your photos

Taking photographs is what the app does. Each frame is written directly into your own Photos library on your own device, as it is captured. The app keeps no second copy, has no cache of its own, no export feature, and no way to transmit an image.

Once a frame is in your library it is governed by your own Photos settings — including whether that library syncs to iCloud, which is an arrangement between you and Apple that BurstWizard is not part of and cannot see.

Permissions the app asks for

• Camera. Required. Without it there is nothing to photograph. The camera is used only while you have the app open and a burst running.
• Add to Photos. Required, so that captured frames can be saved to your library. The app requests add-only access; it does not ask for permission to read your existing photos, and it never reads them.

Both prompts are explained in the app before iOS asks. Either can be withdrawn at any time in the iOS Settings app, and the app will tell you what it can no longer do rather than failing silently.

What is stored on your device

Your capture settings — the mode, the countdown length, the duration, and similar preferences. They are stored in the app's own preferences on the device, they are never transmitted, and they are removed by iOS when you delete the app.

That is the entire storage story. The app has no database, no files of its own, no keychain items and no logs.

Things this app does not have

• No analytics, of any provider or kind.
• No crash reporting SDK.
• No advertising, no ad identifiers, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to track.
• No accounts, no sign-in, and no email address collected.
• No in-app purchases and no payment processing.
• No third-party code, of any sort, in the binary.

Tapping the website or contact links in the app hands an address to iOS, which opens it in your browser or mail app. The app itself makes no request.

Crash reports

BurstWizard contains no crash reporter. If a crash report ever reaches SuperComfySoft it arrives through Apple's own pipeline, because you have turned on Share With App Developers in the iOS privacy settings. That is a choice you make with Apple, it is anonymised by Apple before it is shared, and it can be turned off in the same place.

Children

BurstWizard is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone of any age.

Your rights

Rights under the GDPR and comparable laws — access, correction, erasure, portability, objection — apply to personal data a publisher holds about you. SuperComfySoft holds none from this app, so there is nothing to disclose, correct or erase. Deleting the app removes its settings from your device; your photos remain yours, in your library, untouched.

If you write to the support address below, that email is of course held in an ordinary mailbox for as long as it takes to answer you.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the revised version is posted here with a new date. A change that widened what the app collects would require a new version of the app, reviewed by Apple, with an updated privacy label — there is no way for the policy to quietly become less true for an app already installed on your device.
